Where we started
Body surfing a local spot during a winter swell on the westside of Maui. Being in the water that day body surfing with a fast food restaurant serving tray. After a few waves and feeling the tray was not sufficient and adequate enough to meet his expectations. I came up with the notion of shaping my own hand board. I designed and shaped it out of wood. It was a no-brainer, with the passion to carry on the family trade skills of carpenters and woodworkers. It made a perfect sense, thus Badua Boards was founded. I at first shaped hand boards and from there I got the opportunity to create other custom woodworking items and I kept growing from there.

We create, shape, and airbrush designs on hand boards, Portuguese Horseshoe Sets (aka: Washer toss), Cornhole Boards and anything else your heart desires out of wood.
